About Winterburn Construction Inc.
John Winterburn founded Winterburn Construction Inc. in 1992, beginning as a framing contractor and then as a full-service general contractor and builder. Over twenty-eight years Winterburn Construction Inc. has earned a reputation for quality workmanship and beautiful homes. Clients are happy to refer the company after their job is done and Winterburn Construction’s business is based almost exclusively on referrals.
John is a fifth-generation Santa Cruz resident whose family began as hard-working apple farmers in the Day Valley area of Aptos. John has inherited his family’s work ethic and honesty and he has built Winterburn Construction on satisfying his customers with jobs well done.
John learned construction from his contractor father. While his friends were out playing baseball and surfing John was working with his dad on construction. He spent a year competing to become a professional surfer before obtaining his contractor’s license at 26 years old. He has been building homes since then.
As a long-term resident of Santa Cruz, John is dedicated to helping the community. Winterburn Construction Inc. offers its services to Helping Hands making home repairs for low income and elderly residents.
